Several of Australia’s biggest gold miners are circling a shrinking pool of small developers, opening a narrow trading window in the process...
Five Australian gold companies have been taken over in the last 20 months.
Spartan Resources…Warriedar Resources…De Grey Mining…Magnetic Resources…all gone. Ausgold was snapped up by OceanaGold for $776 million just a few weeks ago…
Every one of these stocks left its shareholders a parting gift on the way out…
De Grey’s shares were valued 37% higher overnight.
Magnetic’s: 25%.
Ausgold opened 24% above where it closed the previous Friday.
That instant bump in the share price is called the ‘premium’.
And, as you’ll find out at our event, the premium is often just ONE of THREE upside stages you can be in with a chance of capturing… provided you get in before any deal is announced…
Brian Chu
Gold Stock Pro
I call those three stages: BUY. BID. BOOM.
My name’s Brian Chu and I’d like to help you exploit this window over the coming months.
Specifically, I’ve identified five ASX-listed companies I think could be swallowed up, before these market conditions pass.
Each has a great and pressing case for being bought or merged with…and each is currently selling at what I call ‘pre-bid’ prices (i.e. before that bump I was just telling you about…)
Now, there are no guarantees – I’m not predicting five takeovers.
But I AM seeing the exact same signs and ‘tells’ I’ve picked up on before with ELEVEN previous gold company takeovers or mergers.
I’ll tell you all about these stocks — and my ‘takeover tells’ — at our trading event:
BUY. BID. BOOM, on Thursday, 24 September at 7:00pm AEST.

If you like gold and gold stocks, you’ve probably been watching this bull market, wondering: ‘When are the juniors going to have their run?’
Well, the fact that they haven’t…yet…plays right into this opportunity.
Let me show you.
Since January 2026, the big gold stocks I track — the producers — are up 27% in my own proprietary index.
The smaller gold stocks — the developers — are up just 2.4% over the same period.
Why does this matter…and what does it mean?
Two things:
First: the developers are the ones typically sitting on the gold: proven deposits, drilled and confirmed. But developers don’t have the processing capabilities…
The producers have the plants to process the ore…but they don’t often have the readily accessible reserves the smaller companies are sitting on.
They are mutual beneficiaries…but that’s just one part of the recipe.
And specifically, it’s to do with how takeover deals are mostly always structured…
See, the bigger companies hardly ever buy out the smaller ones with cash.
They typically do so with their own shares.
And those bigger company shares just went up 27%…while the smaller ones only went up 2.4%…
So if you’re a gold producer needing ore, your buying terms just got a lot more favourable. That’s why we saw the Ausgold/OceanaGold deal in August. And it’s why I think we’ll see more deals over the coming months.
This is the time you want to get busy as an investor, because that gap…between the buyers and their targets…is about as wide as I’ve seen it in this cycle.
How long it stays this way…that’s down to the market.
To understand more…and to learn how to put yourself in position to make a quick move on my five target stocks…join me at 7:00pm AEST on Thursday, 24 September for...

We’re talking about a dwindling pool of target stocks here…
When I finished writing my book, Gold’s True Message, in December last year, I listed 13 Australian companies either at development or feasibility stage — with the exact assets and characteristics the big boys are looking for.
The book went on sale in January. Two of them have already been bought.
So just eight months later, that list is down to 11.
Rest assured, every gold producer in this country that needs ounces is working through the same shortlist.
In July last year, Capricorn Metals bid for small West Australian developer Warriedar Resources.
I’d bought into Warriedar about a year previous, and had been accumulating at an average entry price of five cents. By late July last year, it was at 12 cents. No rumour, no news, nothing announced — it just drifted up while I sat there.
That’s the ‘BUY’ stage…
On July 24th, Capricorn’s bid came in.
The bid valued the shares at 15 and a half cents. That’s a 29% premium — and you’d have got it overnight, just for holding the shares.
That’s the ‘BID’ stage…
Now, the bit that matters… Capricorn didn’t pay cash — it paid in its own shares. So when Warriedar came off the exchange, I wasn’t out and finished… I was still in the market, holding a piece of a bigger company. And Capricorn has kept climbing ever since.
That’s the ‘BOOM’.
From that 12-cent close, it’s up 152% in a little over a year. From my initial position, I took a third of my stake off the table, and made over four times my money. I let the remainder run.
And everyone still only ever talks about the 29% premium. In Warriedar’s case, that was less than a FIFTH of the whole gain.
Not every deal goes like this, mind you. Some fall over after the announcement. And these are small, speculative stocks — they can move against you just as quickly.
But, like I say, timed right, you can get exposure to three separate paydays from one takeover deal: BUY. BID. BOOM.
I’ll walk you through exactly how it works on Thursday.
I’ve identified five ASX-listed companies that fit the same profile as the ones already taken out.
On Thursday evening, I’m going to name one of them on air.
The company, the ticker, and the price I’d pay up to — and no further. This is yours to act on, whether you take anything else from the event or not.
I’ve been doing this for 13 years, across three gold cycles.
No fewer than eleven times in my personal trading, a bigger company has come knocking for a business I was holding shares in…
Eleven times, I was already in position before the phone rang.
That’s what Thursday is about.
